Pricing and Buy Box

Win the sale without giving away the margin.

We review your prices, delivery promises and offer performance so your products are featured more often, with pricing rules that protect your margin and your own website.

The problem

On Amazon, the Buy Box offer is the one shoppers can add to their basket straight away. If it isn't yours, they have to go looking for you.

We set pricing rules with floors and ceilings, fix the delivery and stock issues that cost you the Buy Box, and review it all with you.

Price means total price

Amazon compares the item price plus delivery, and offers with free delivery are more likely to be featured. A low price with a delivery charge can lose to a higher all-in price.

A race to the bottom

Repricing tools can chase competitors all the way down to cost. Without a floor price, you can win the Buy Box and lose money on every order.

Prices that break the rules

Under Amazon's fair pricing policy, a price significantly higher than recent prices on or off Amazon, or an excessive delivery fee, can cost you the Buy Box or the offer itself.

What we do

What's included. Done by the people you talk to.

Buy Box diagnosis

The Buy Box is the box on an Amazon product page with the Add to Basket button, now officially called the Featured Offer. We check which of your offers win it, which don't and why: price, delivery promise, stock or seller performance.

Delivery promise

Fast delivery, free delivery and a specific delivery date rather than a range all count in your favour. We review your delivery settings and handling times so your promise is as strong as you can reliably keep.

Repricing rules

We set up Amazon's Automate Pricing tool, or the repricer you already use, with a minimum and maximum price for each SKU, so automatic changes never go below your floor.

Price health checks

We look for prices Amazon may treat as too high against recent prices, and for multipacks priced above the single-unit rate, which the fair pricing policy doesn't allow.

Promotions

Vouchers, deals and marketplace promotions planned around your margins and stock, so every discount has a job to do. Amazon notes that promotions such as vouchers can help an offer become featured.

Channel price rules

We agree pricing rules with you so marketplaces never undercut your own website or break agreements you have with retailers. On Amazon we also review business prices, as Amazon compares VAT-exclusive prices for business customers where they're available.

What you get
  • Your offers featured more often, on the products that matter most.
  • Prices that move within limits you set, never below your floor.
  • Delivery settings that help your offers rather than hold them back.
  • Clear pricing rules across your website and every marketplace.
How it works

From first call to running.

1

Review

We pull your current prices, competing offers and your Featured Offer percentage, which Amazon shows in Business Reports in Seller Central.

2

Set rules

We agree floor and ceiling prices with you for each SKU, based on your costs, marketplace fees and margin targets.

3

Fix the causes

We sort out delivery promises, stock gaps and performance issues that stop your offers being featured.

4

Review and adjust

We review pricing and the Buy Box regularly, and for larger catalogues we can monitor prices and competitors on an ongoing basis.

FAQ

Pricing and Buy Box questions.

What is the Buy Box?
When several sellers offer the same product on Amazon, they share one product page. The Buy Box, which Amazon calls the Featured Offer, is the offer shown with the Add to Basket and Buy Now buttons. Other offers are still available, but shoppers have to click through to find them.
Are we eligible for the Buy Box?
In 2026 Amazon removed its separate seller eligibility requirement, so offers from all sellers are now considered. That doesn't mean every offer wins. Amazon still ranks offers on price, delivery, seller performance and stock, and may feature no offer at all if none meets its standards.
Does Fulfilment by Amazon help us win the Buy Box?
Not on its own. Amazon says that, other factors being equal, offers fulfilled by Amazon and by the seller are equally likely to be featured, and the Prime badge isn't a factor by itself. What counts is the delivery promise you offer and keep.
Will you just cut our prices?
No. Price is one factor, and not always the problem. We look at delivery, stock and seller performance first, and every pricing rule has a floor that you approve.
Do you manage pricing on eBay and other marketplaces too?
Yes. On eBay, shoppers compare listings side by side, so price, delivery cost and speed matter for each one. We check what similar items have actually sold for using completed listings, then set prices within your rules.
