TikTok Shop management, from set-up to creators.

We set up and run your TikTok Shop: listings, creator collaborations, promotions, ads and delivery standards. Your shop stays in your company's name, and nothing goes live without your approval.

Selling on TikTok Shop

TikTok Shop sales come from content and creators, and most businesses don't have time to run either.

Polymerchant sets up and runs your TikTok Shop day to day from the same catalogue as your other channels: listings, creator collaborations, promotions and delivery standards, with every change approved by you.

Listings nobody sees

On TikTok, shoppers find products through creators, shoppable videos and LIVE streams. Without a steady flow of content, your listings sit unseen.

Creator admin piles up

Sample requests, commission rates and follow-ups build up fast. Without a system, you send out free stock and get little back.

Strict delivery rules

If you ship orders yourself, an order not handed to the carrier within 7 working days is cancelled automatically. Late deliveries also pull down your Shop Performance Score, TikTok's 0 to 5 rating of your shop.

Is TikTok Shop right for you? An honest answer, including when to wait.

A good fit if

  • Your products are visual, easy to demonstrate or giftable, and look good in a short video.
  • Your customers include younger shoppers who discover products through social media.
  • You can send samples to creators and are happy to pay them commission on the sales they bring in.
  • You can dispatch quickly from UK stock, or plan to use TikTok's own fulfilment options.

Think twice if

  • Your products are bought by searching for an exact specification, like replacement parts. TikTok is driven by discovery, so search-led marketplaces such as Amazon or eBay may suit you better.
  • Your category is invite-only. Food, drinks, supplements, power tools, some jewellery and some second-hand goods need TikTok's approval before you can list them.
  • You can't budget for creator commission on top of fees. Affiliate commission is paid in addition to TikTok's 9% commission, so your margins need room for both.
How we help

What we do on TikTok Shop. Run alongside every other channel, from one catalogue.

Shop set-up and approval

We register your shop in your company's name, prepare the documents TikTok asks for and set up your UK warehouse and returns addresses. If your products are in an invite-only category, we help with the application.

Marketplace launches →

Listings and product data

We build listings with clear titles, images, variants and product attributes, and check them against TikTok's product rules before they go live, so they aren't rejected or removed.

Listing optimisation →

Creator collaborations

We set up open collaborations, where any creator can apply to promote your products, and targeted ones, where you invite creators you've chosen. We suggest commission rates and manage sample requests so free stock goes to creators likely to post.

Marketplace management →

GMV Max campaigns

We run your TikTok Shop Ads. GMV Max is now the only supported campaign type for new Shop ads, with Product and LIVE versions, so we set budgets, choose which products to push and report on the return.

Marketplace advertising →

Shop Performance Score

Your score is based on product satisfaction, fulfilment and customer service, and some features need a minimum score. We watch negative reviews, cancellations and late deliveries and fix the causes early.

Account health →

Dispatch, tracking and messages

We keep orders moving to the carrier on time, add valid tracking for orders you ship yourself and answer buyer messages promptly.

Already selling on TikTok Shop? In a free 20-minute demo we look at your shop and the other channels you sell on, and show what we would change. Not selling yet? We look at whether your products and category suit it and what it would cost. Book a free demo.

2

Registration

We apply as a corporate seller in your company's name. TikTok asks for company registration documents, ID, recent proof of address and bank details, and approval may take 2 to 3 days.

3

Listings, shipping and samples

We list your products, choose your shipping method and open your first creator collaborations, with sample rules you agree to.

4

Approve, launch, review

Nothing goes live without your approval. We report monthly, or weekly if you need it, covering sales, creators and your performance score.

FAQ

TikTok Shop questions.

How much does TikTok Shop charge?
There are no fees to get started. You pay a commission of 9%, including VAT, on completed orders, calculated on net sales plus customer-paid shipping and platform discounts, minus refunds. Lower rates are available for new sellers, some Electronics and Beauty & Personal Care categories, and sellers who complete Seller Missions. Creator commission, if you use affiliates, is extra.
Can my business sell on TikTok Shop UK?
TikTok Shop UK accepts sole traders and corporate sellers. Corporate sellers must be legally incorporated in the UK, and all sellers must store stock in the UK, ship domestically and accept returns in the UK. Some categories, such as food, supplements and power tools, are invite-only and need approval first.
How do creators and affiliates work?
Creators promote your products in their content and earn a commission you set on each sale. With Open Collaboration, any creator can find your products and apply to promote them. With Targeted Collaboration, you invite specific creators. You can offer free samples and choose whether to approve sample requests manually or automatically.
What are the delivery rules?
If you ship orders yourself, parcels should be delivered within 4 working days, and an order not handed to the carrier within 7 working days is cancelled automatically. If you use Ship by TikTok, you hand parcels over within 2 working days. Late deliveries count against your on-time delivery rate, which feeds into your Shop Performance Score.
What is the Shop Performance Score?
It's a score from 0 to 5 that TikTok gives your shop once you've delivered at least 30 orders in 60 days, based on product satisfaction, fulfilment and customer service. Some features need a minimum score, for example auctions need 3.0 or more, and TikTok says top sellers generally score 4 or above.
Do I have to go LIVE to sell?
No. You can sell through shoppable videos, your product showcase and creators as well as LIVE streams. LIVE suits products that are best shown in action, and LIVE GMV Max campaigns can promote your streams. Our TikTok Shop UK guide covers the options in more detail.
