Account health

Keep your accounts healthy and your listings live.

We watch the performance metrics and policy warnings each marketplace uses to judge your account, fix problems at the cause and handle appeals, so a bad week doesn't turn into a suspension.

The problem

Marketplaces measure every seller all the time, and the first many businesses hear of a problem is a warning email.

We check the health of every account, explain what the numbers mean and fix the cause before it costs you.

Thresholds you can't see coming

Amazon's policy is an Order Defect Rate under 1% over 60 days and a cancellation rate under 2.5% over 7 days. Go over either and the account can be deactivated.

Points lost quietly

Amazon's Account Health Rating runs from 0 to 1,000. Each policy violation costs points, and below 200 the account is at risk of deactivation.

Every marketplace scores differently

eBay rates sellers Top Rated, Above Standard or Below Standard each month, and TikTok Shop gives a Shop Performance Score from 0 to 5. Each has its own idea of what counts against you.

What we do

What's included. Done by the people you talk to.

Amazon performance targets

We track Amazon's targets: Order Defect Rate under 1% (negative feedback, A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks), and on orders you ship yourself, cancellation rate under 2.5%, late dispatch rate under 4% and valid tracking rate above 95%.

Policy compliance

We deal with policy warnings, listing violations and IP complaints within their deadlines. On Amazon, repeat violations of the same policy cost more points each time, and too many in 180 days can put the account at immediate risk.

eBay seller standards

To avoid Below Standard on eBay, you need a transaction defect rate (seller cancellations and unresolved buyer problems) of 2% or less, and no more than 2 cases, or 0.3%, closed without seller resolution. Top Rated needs 0.5% or less.

TikTok Shop performance

TikTok Shop's score covers negative reviews, seller-fault returns and cancellations, on-time delivery, chat satisfaction and after-sales handling time. We watch each one and work on the weakest.

Appeals and plans of action

If a listing or account is restricted, we find the root cause, put fixes in place and write the appeal or plan of action for your approval.

Prevention

Many problems start upstream: stock that runs out, slow dispatch, listings that don't match the product. We fix those through orders and customer service and listing optimisation.

What you get
  • Warnings caught and dealt with before they become suspensions.
  • Metrics explained in plain English, with what's changed and why.
  • Fewer suppressed listings and policy surprises.
  • Fewer of the penalties of poor standing, such as lower search placement and higher fees on eBay.
How it works

From first call to running.

1

Baseline

We review every account's health page, open warnings and recent performance metrics.

2

Fix

We clear open issues first: unanswered policy notices, suppressed listings and anything close to a threshold.

3

Check

We check account health on every marketplace as part of the day-to-day running.

4

Report

Your monthly report shows each account's standing, what we've fixed and anything we're watching.

FAQ

Account health questions.

What is Order Defect Rate?
It's the share of your Amazon orders over 60 days with at least one defect: negative feedback, an A-to-z Guarantee claim that isn't denied, or a credit card chargeback. Amazon's policy is to keep it under 1%.
Our account has been suspended. Can you help?
Yes. We work out why from the account health page and the notices you've received, fix the underlying problem and draft an appeal or plan of action for you to approve. We can't promise the outcome, because the marketplace makes the decision.
Which Amazon metrics apply if we use Fulfilment by Amazon?
Cancellation rate, late dispatch rate and valid tracking rate only apply to orders you ship yourself. Order Defect Rate isn't limited to those orders, and policy compliance applies to everything you sell.
How does eBay decide our seller level?
eBay evaluates sellers on the 20th of each month. If you've had more than 400 transactions in the past 3 months, it counts those; otherwise it looks at the last 12 months. Below Standard sellers can be placed lower in search, blocked from Promoted Listings and charged higher final value fees.
Does TikTok Shop score new shops?
You get a Shop Performance Score once you have at least 30 delivered orders in the past 60 days. The same behaviours matter before then, so we set up dispatch and customer service properly from the start.
