AdvertisingOn-site ads through Mirakl Ads, plus a 2% off-site marketing fee on some established accounts
Selling on The Range

The Range has a big audience, but its partner rules are strict and the fees add up.

We set realistic dispatch times, keep stock accurate across all your channels and handle orders daily, so you stay inside The Range's targets and keep more of each sale.

Tight performance targets

The Range expects at least 98% of items dispatched on time, no more than 1% cancelled for lack of stock and no more than 4% returned.

Late delivery fees

If an order arrives late and the customer keeps it, The Range charges a fee that rises from 10% to 30% depending on how many days late it is.

Fees on top of fees

Commission is charged on the total sale including shipping, there's a 1% payment fee on every sale, and some established accounts pay 2% for off-site marketing.

Is The Range right for you? An honest answer, including when to wait.

A good fit if

  • Businesses selling furniture, home furnishings, garden, DIY, arts and crafts, pets or toys, all categories The Range lists for partners.
  • Sellers who'd rather avoid monthly subscription fees and only pay when they sell.
  • Businesses with accurate stock data and dependable couriers, including for large items.
  • Suppliers who'd prefer to agree a cost price and let The Range set the retail price, under its cost-based model.

Think twice if

  • Commission applies to shipping as well as the item price, so delivery-heavy products cost more to sell than the headline rate suggests.
  • Missing the dispatch, cancellation or returns targets is followed up as a compliance matter, and late deliveries carry fees. Bulky goods need carriers you can rely on.
  • Verification is thorough. Company details must match Companies House, you'll need proof of your main stock location, and identity checks are run before you can be paid. Products must be UK compliant with the right test certificates.

FAQ

The Range questions.

Does The Range charge a monthly fee?
No. The Range says it has no selling plans with monthly fees or listing fees. You pay commission by category and a 1% payment gateway fee on each sale, and some established accounts also pay a 2% off-site marketing fee.
What commission does The Range charge?
Commission is a percentage of the total sale including shipping, and it varies by category. At the time of writing (October 2026) the published table runs from 11% for pets and toys to 15% for cooking and dining and for clothing and accessories. The Range gives 90 days' notice of any changes.
What's the difference between commission-based and cost-based selling?
Commission-based sellers set their own prices and pay a fee on each sale. Cost-based sellers agree a cost price for their goods and delivery, The Range sets the retail price, and anything above the agreed cost is The Range's fee.
Who handles delivery?
You do. The Range passes orders to you and you organise delivery to the customer. You set up your own delivery services and returns options before you start selling.
How long does sign-up take?
The application has two stages, and The Range aims to email you the second part within 24 hours of the first. You then add delivery, returns, company and bank details, agree the terms and apply for categories before onboarding products.
Will our products also appear on Wilko?
The Range's owner, CDS Superstores, also runs wilko.com, and its partner terms cover all websites it operates, not just therange.co.uk. We couldn't find public detail on how products are chosen for wilko.com, so ask during onboarding. Our Wilko page explains more.
