Debenhams marketplace management, from application to everyday orders.

Debenhams sells other businesses' products to a large UK audience, but you have to apply, and standards stay high once you're in. We help you put together a strong application, then run the listings, pricing and orders so your range gets daily attention.

ScaleOver 25,000 partner brands and 5.7 million active customers on the Debenhams marketplace, according to Debenhams Group's results for the year to 28 February 2026
Selling on Debenhams

Debenhams is selective, and a weak application or patchy listings waste the opportunity.

We prepare your application, get your Mirakl account and catalogue right, and run pricing, orders and promotions day to day alongside your other channels, with stock kept in sync.

An application to win

Debenhams uses your application to judge whether your business fits its marketplace. A vague pitch or thin range makes that case harder to make.

Costs you can't see yet

There's a monthly subscription and commission on every sale, but the rates aren't published and the agreement runs on 6-month rolling terms. You need the numbers before you commit.

A crowded store

The Debenhams marketplace grew to over 25,000 partner brands in its last financial year, up from around 15,000. Your listings need to hold their own next to well-known names.

Is Debenhams right for you? An honest answer, including when to wait.

A good fit if

  • Businesses in categories that suit a department store, such as fashion, beauty, home, furniture, sport and gifts.
  • Businesses with barcoded products (UPC or EAN13) and good-quality product images.
  • Businesses with a UK bank account to connect for payouts and a sales history to show in their application.
  • Businesses that want department store visibility without a wholesale deal: you sell your own stock and Debenhams earns commission.

Think twice if

  • Fees aren't published. You'll only see the subscription and commission rates once you're talking to Debenhams, and you're committing to 6-month rolling terms.
  • Approval isn't automatic. Debenhams assesses each application for fit, so be ready to show your range, pricing and sales history.
  • Cash takes time to arrive. Orders become eligible for payment 21 days after they're created, and payouts run twice a month.

FAQ

Debenhams questions.

How do I apply to sell on Debenhams?
You register your interest through the form on the Sell on Debenhams page. Debenhams says it uses the information to assess your fit for the marketplace, and that its sales team reviews applications and gets in touch within one working day.
How much does Debenhams charge sellers?
Debenhams charges a monthly subscription, set up and billed through your Mirakl account, plus commission on each sale. It doesn't publish the rates, so you'll get them during the application process. The agreement runs on 6-month rolling terms.
How big is the Debenhams marketplace?
In results for the year to 28 February 2026, published on 16 June 2026, Debenhams Group reported over 25,000 partner brands on the Debenhams marketplace, up from around 15,000 a year earlier, and 5.7 million active customers. Across all the Group's brands, marketplace GMV (gross merchandise value, the total value of goods sold) rose 14.9% to £620.4m.
What does capital-lite, stock-lite mean for my business?
It's how Debenhams Group describes its marketplace model: rather than buying stock, it sells other businesses' products and earns commission on each sale. For you, it means your stock stays yours, and you're paid the net sales value minus commission and VAT on commission.
How does delivery work on Debenhams?
With Delivered by Debenhams, you store and pack orders and Debenhams arranges next-day tracked delivery through its courier partner, on pay-as-you-go pricing. Fulfilled by Debenhams goes further, handling storage, picking, packing and delivery, with next-day UK delivery on orders placed by 12pm. Debenhams says Fulfilled by Debenhams onboarding takes under 4 weeks.
When does Debenhams pay me?
Payments go out twice a month, on the 14th and 28th. An order becomes eligible 21 days after it's created, as long as it has shipped and hasn't been refunded.
